Adam: A natural experimentalist who loves to mentor, learn, innovate, and make new mistakes. I rarely take myself seriously.

I find humor and puzzles everywhere. I laugh at math jokes. I'll melt for a clever pun, then retaliate. Languages fascinate me. I'm smitten by the beauty and utility of American Sign Language. Bad grammar drives me nuts.

I teach through analogy, counter-examples, silly questions, and gentle teasing. I make stuff up so you'll figure things out yourself. I make even "hard" subjects like math and science easy—and fun—for children and adults. Think that's nuts? You've been taught wrong. I'll prove it to you. Try me.

I'll entertain curiosity virtually forever. A 3-year-old gave up asking "Why?" before I ran out of answers.
